Telstra Awards Recognise Achievements Of Australia’s Leading Business Women

Updated March 18 2008 - Entries for the 2008 Telstra Business Women’s Awards will open in April. The Telstra Business Women’s Awards have recognised the importance of women in business since 1995.

Telstra Group Managing Director and Telstra Business Women’s Awards Ambassador, Ms Holly Kramer, said last year’s Awards identified a fantastic group of inspirational women.

"It’s an honour for Telstra to host these Awards which recognise the valuable contribution women make to business across Australia," she said.

"The Telstra Business Women’s Awards offer women the chance to step into the limelight and receive due recognition."

Last year's Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year was Leanne Preston, Chief Executive Officer of Wild Child. The company develops and markets natural health care products internationally. The range of baby, children and family products, includes baby care and sunscreens and contains only natural or nature identical ingredients. Leanne Preston founded Wild Child in 1997 as a home-based business.
