"Networking Nights" series kicks off again in New York City. But this year it will extend to

or new employment opportunities.
This year's spring/summer schedule is New York City (May 24, June 7
and June 28), Atlanta (June 14), Washington, DC (June 21) and Chicago (July 12).
All "Networking Nights" sessions take place on Monday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to
8:30 p.m. at select Starbucks Coffee locations. Admission to all sessions is free but
require pre-registration online at where registrants
will receive specific location information.
Topics to be discussed during the series include:
* Learning how to sell yourself, your product and your company
* Finding jobs in companies that value diversity
* Getting the most out of your Rolodex: The keys to effective networking
* Networking through your career in the public sector
* Finding the interviews that other job hunters never hear about
"Job seekers' response to 'Networking Nights' has been tremendous," said Stephanie Horton, manager, advertising promotion, The New York Times. "They have helped dozens of people secure new jobs and have provided thousands more with useful career information. Given its success in New York during the last two years, we felt it was a good time to extend 'Networking Nights' to other national markets as job recruitment picks up. We believe recruiters see 'Networking Nights' as an effective resource to identify quality talent in today's marketplace."
"Starbucks Coffee is proud to be part of the success of 'Networking Nights' and to provide our venues as meeting places for the communities we serve," said Daniel Lewis, Starbucks Coffee regional spokesperson.
"Networking Nights" debuted in 2002 as a community service to help New Yorkers find jobs locally and will once again be presented in conjunction with Starbucks Coffee, the exclusive venue for all "Networking Nights" sessions.
