Health & Safety Mandatory Posting Required by WSIB and Ministry of Labour (Ontario)HRinfodesk---Canadian Payroll and Employment Law, February 2005 Every workplace is required to have and post a recent copy of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (with the most recent major amendments), and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board Poster "In Case of Injury at Work". If you employ between 6 and 19 employees, you are also required to post the name and location of the health and safety representative; if you employ more than 19 workers (i.e. 20 or more) you need to post the names of the Joint Health and Safety Committee members. In addition, you’ll also have to post your updated Health and Safety Policy Statement. If your workplace has been inspected or audited recently, you also have to post a copy of a Ministry of Labour Inspection Report. The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board Poster "In Case of Injury at Work" (Form 82) can be obtained on the WSIB website. You can also order an 11" x 17" or 18" x 24" poster through the forms order line at 416-344-3862. Ask for the poster in the size of your choice or download Form 688, fill it in and fax it to: 416-344-4684. A copy of the Occupational Health and Safety Act can be obtained at the E-Laws website or through Publications Ontario.
